Task 3: Gallery Walk
A collaborative tool to help students of all ages to reflect on their work and provide feedback on the work of others.
Gallery Walk
This week we divided into teams, and assigned roles to each member, following the methodology of collaborative learning:
-
Leader: responsible for co-ordinating group work, motivating other members, checking all tasks are completed, and evaluating the group's activity.
-
Organiser: reminds group of tasks to be completed, takes notes in group meetings, ensures all members know what they have to do and have the necessary information to complete their tasks.
-
Speaker: acts as the group's spokesperson when dealing with the teacher or other members of the class, presents the group's work to the rest of the class.
-
Manager: organises all the materials of the group (both physical and digital), makes sure work is going on schedule.

In my group, I have been working with Irene Bueno, Lucía Calles and Natalia Soleto. Our first task was to give ourselves a name ("The Z Team") and to do a Gallery Walk. In this activity, we each visited each others' websites and left feedback - both positive and constructive - through a collaborative PowerPoint document. Check out the end result below, or take a look at all the groups' gallery walks here:
